I am researching a Russell's line who resided in Tuscola County, Michigan. This family is listed in the 1880 Census of the Columbia Township, Tuscola County, Michigan. Robert H. Russell spouse Elizabeth (Libbie) Scheerder. They had a daughter named Carrie E. Russell, b. 6 Aug 1871. Carrie married John A. Jones, b. 1863, d. 15 Jul 1946. They had 3 sons and 1 daughter, Russell Earl Jones, Frank L. Jones, J.R. Jones and May Laing. I am distantly related to the Russell Earl Jones who married Agnes Laura Van Dyke (my direct line).Their children are Helen Louise Jones and Mark Steven Jones and an infant that died.
