Roberta graduated from Pickerington High School in 1951 and then went on to business school in Columbus, Ohio.
Roberta's most precious memories are time spent with her classmates from the class of 1951. She was a very devoted member of her class and enjoyed planning reunions and get-togethers: after celebrating their 50 years out of school Roberta organized her class getting together twice a year for a luncheon.
Roberta worked several construction jobs as a secretary and retired from Cleveland Cement. Roberta was a very devoted member of several organizations, and was a 50 year plus member of Parthenia Chapter #124 O.E.S. in Baltimore, Ohio; a 50 year plus member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America in Columbus, Tarhe Ladies Shrine in Lancaster, member of Pickerington Senior Center, a lifelong member of Peace United Methodist Church in Pickerington, past treasurer of the Violet Cemetery Board, past secretary of Rockwell Retirees, and was a member of the Pickerington Historical Society, and Baltimore VFW #3761 as a life member of the Auxiliary.
Roberta enjoyed trips to the Lancaster Fairfield County Fair each fall and entering her famous sweet pickles. She enjoyed working in her yard and all her flowerbeds, and enjoyed her season tickets to attending the OSU Women's Basketball games.
She really enjoyed her many friends that would stop by to visit and swing with her on her front porch and watch all the traffic go by.
