Hello I was just checking the boards and I wanted to let you know that William Rayburn is my great-great-grandfather. His son Frederick who would have been Jacob's brother is my great-grandfather. He had a son named Roy Jacob Rayburn and assuming that with the middle name of Jacob he was named after your Jacob. The interesting thing is that I just am finding out about my grandfather, Roy Jacob Rayburn. My father, Paul Leonard Belcher, was adopted. His biological sister, Joyce Evelyn Rayburn, located my dad. My dad was actually Paul Rayburn. His adoptive parents were Deloris and Harry Belcher. My father's mother was Mary Alice Roller. Mary Alice was married to Eugene H Copus they later divorced according to family stories and she married Roy Jacob Rayburn. They had my aunt Joyce and my father and then either they separated or divorced. Later before my grandma Mary died, she took back the last name of Copus or she remarried Copus or she never really divorced Copus. My grandfather Roy Jacob Rayburn was born in 1889 and he passed away in 1949. He's buried in Peoria, Illinois and my grandmother is buried in Southern Illinois. My dad passed before I had reason to ask questions. So I am also interested in any information. I am certain that we have the same William Rayburn. :)
