Hi Robyn,
I am the 2nd great granddaughter of NO Nelson and I believe that I also have a copy of this book...although the title I have is "Early Dannevirke Incidents Revealed". I also have a letter that AW wrote to one of my relatives, Ida Marie Barnes, NO's daughter. (see attached file)

Do you have any additional historical information (ie: photos) or know where I can go to find more information? I may have an early copy of the book before it went to the printer. I'm not sure because the person who gave me my photocopy (NO's granddaughter, Josephine, has since passed away.) When my grandma lived in Dannevirke, it was during the Dust Bowl and she was really young when her family followed NO to Solvang, California to live after he had retired. I have not been able to find many pictures of her time living in Dannevirke at all as they had lost everything in the Dust Bowl and, according to family "lore", moved with the clothes on their back to California.

Feel free to contact me!

NO Nelson's son, Christian Leth Nelson, had 3 daughters with his wife Eleanor. My grandmother, Mabel Josephine ("Jo"), is his youngest daughter and she married James McCullough. My father, James II, is their oldest child and is named after James. (hope this makes sense)
