My mother-in-law was born in Cottonwood County, MN. The family lived in Windom, MN. Her father was born in Pomerania-Germany in 1892 to Gottfried and Regina Polzin. They emigrated to the United States about 1894. They were/are Lutheran Germans. My mother-in-law remembers church services being offered in German sometimes.
I know Gottfried and Regina had other children that lived in southern Minnesota, but I don't know names. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate my Polzin family history that was written about Gottfried and Regina's family. When I locate it I can add more.
