Forgive my posting in English. The name Poerschke caught my eye. I am interested in learning about Maria Anna Charlotte Perschke nee Berthold and Louis Perschke. Maria is the daughter of August Berthold and Johanna Kochel; she was born in Sternalitz, Oberschlesien, Germany. She married Louis Perschke, son of Joseph and Eda Perschke\Persky before immigrating to USA on the S.S. Hermann from Bremen to Baltimore arriving on March 23, 1887 with their sons listed on the manifest as Max age 8, Paul age 7 and Fritz age 4. When Louis died Maria married Jacob Kastner in a ceremony performed by a Lutheran minister. Any help greatly appreciated. I feel the Perschke family must have been nearby the Berthold family for Louis and Maria to have met and married and had children before coming to USA. Elaine
