The 1880 census indicates that she and George GILLESPIE had their first child in 1862, so she was probably married about 1860. I’ll try Cheraw County as well.
I just started research on this line a couple of weeks ago and have not done anything beyond a few internet searches. South Carolina is a new area of research so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your suggestions. I will follow through on them.
