Searching for more information on my husband’s maternal g-g-grandmother Amelia Ann PEGUE, an African American b. ca. 1845, Chesterfield County, S.C. She m., abt. 1860, George GILLESPIE of Marlboro County, where they were living with their children in 1880. I cannot locate them in the census before or after that year. Also looking for birth, death, marriage dates. Their son John (my husband's g-grandfather) later moved to North Carolina. Any help greatly appreciated.
