Yes it does seem to be too many similiarities to not be some sort of connection since most families named their children after their family be it their brothers or sisters or aunts and uncles. The John Wesley that I was talking about died and is buried at Cold Water, Tennessee or sometimes known as Taft,Tennessee. He would fit that timeframe though. However I know all of his brothers and sisters unless there was a "yard child" somewhere. I can't believe there is close relation though since I know for a fact that this line was in Tennessee way on back about 4 generations. Let me know if you come upon anything. Good Luck.
