Hello:
There were two John Wesley in my line and possibly three. My ggrandfather was John Wesley and he had a John Wesley, Jr. Could these children be some of his? You did not say what time frame you were talking about. There is possibly a John that would be a grandfather to John Wesley and since John Wesley was the first born son of James and Marthy Patterson I wonder if James' father wasn't John Wesley. If that scenario is true then there are 3 John Wesleys in my line. However this is pure guess on my part as I do not have anything to state that the old one was named John Wesley or what his name was. He was married to a Nancy and I am assuming they were both born abt. 1790-1799. I do not know where but I suspect NC.
I did not recognize any of the names you mention in your post but they could very well be children of John Wesley Jr since he was married 3 times and when he died there were 19 children around his bed and there were several that wasn't there. We suspect he might have had at least 24 by 4 different women. The last marriage was to one of a set of twins. When they married and moved out the other twin went with them and he had children by both twins. Such is the olden times. Would like to talk to you to see if we can rake up kin folk.
