No Marsha I do not know anything at all or if, in fact, that my ancestor, Nancy J. Patterson's husband was named John. All I have been going on is the fact that my 2nd grandfather was named John Wesley and he was James and Marthy Patterson's first born son. So you see I have very flimsy evidence that he might have been named John. It is possible that he might have been born in NC as Nancy, his wife, was. Wish I could help.
