Loreda,
I am researching a Palmer family that is in TN in 1815, then GA in 1850. However, the years of 1815-1840 may have been spent in MO as the wife that shows up in 1850 was born in MO in 1826.
Here is the line I am looking for -- does this sound familiar at all? Could their be any link? Oral family tradition has that our line was related to the Buncombe Co. NC line. Our line continues after 1850 in North GA and then extreme Western NC which is where I grew up.
ANDREW JACKSON1 PALMER was born May 09, 1815 in Rutherford Co. Tennessee, and died December 11, 1898. He married SARAH SALLY SANDLAND. She was born February 28, 1826 in Missouri, and died September 16, 1899.
