Nope not the same Wiley. My Wiley was born in 1830 and died in 1913. I am also finding out so much about my family that goes all the way back to the1600's. Wiley's father was James Lowery.
But we are the same as far as Lumbee goes so maybe there is a closer connection.
We are having an Oxendine reunion in Lumberton, NC somewhere on Aug. 25. Not too long from now I can't wait.
