I might seem knowledgeable, but I consider that there are huge gaps in my knowledge and it bugs me.
As you are in Derry Connery then you wouldn't be far from the O'Sullivan 'Jers'. Kevin and Sheila are great people. Kevin's parents Eamon Jer and Mary Crowley were good friends of my parents from the 1930s. To my knowledge they are no relation.
You know the way it is with the necessity for family nicknames over there. By what familiar name were your O'Sullivans called?
