I don't know much about Elizabeth O'Berry and William Henry Spikes but I'll tell you what I know. Elizabeth was the daughter of David Ebenezer O'Berry , David was born March 20, 1842 in Blackshear, Georgia a son of Wilson Conner O'Berry, Sr. and his wife, Elizabeth. David Ebenezer O'Berry married Elizabeth, maiden unknown, around 1861. Their first child was Elizabeth, born November 16, 1861.
The birthplace of Elizabeth according to records I've seen on the internet was Leliaton, Georgia but it's more likely that she was born in Pierce County because her father didn't move from Pierce County until after the Civil War was over. He and his brothers Wilson C. and Robert G. O'Berry all moved for a time to the Millwood section of Ware County in the late 1860s' Robert G. later moved back to Pierce County and David moved on to the Leliaton, Georgia area. Wilson C. O'Berry stayed in Millwood.
Elizabeth and William Spikes were married in Pine Bloom in Ware County on December 8, 1877.
