Sarah, I saw your e-mail to Lyn and Katie about the possible relations of the O'Berry's of Effingham County and McIntosh County. A deed from Effingham County dated February 26,1801 would seem to indicate that the O'Berry's from McIntosh County moved there from Effingham County. It reads, " John O'Berry of McIntosh County and Elender, his wife, to Elijah Tiner of Effingham County. Deed dated February 26, 1801 for 200 acres in Effingham County bounded on the Northeast by Truetlins and on the other sides vacant." Hope this helps you, Danny.
