I know it's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread but I'm so curious about the photo's. I'm the Great Great Grand daughter of Noah W. Newsom and Elizabeth J. Moore and Grand Daughter of Mae Newsom, I know too many people keep spelling her name wrong LOL. Anyways. I have photo's also of some grave sites etc. But not much in the way of photo's of Noah and Elizabeth the only one I have is from my dad's Family Geneology Book that Charles Moore Put together. And that isn't alot. Also was wondering about Noah's 1/2 Sister who is full blooded Cherokee? Noah is 1/2 Cherokee from his mother or so the story goes. I've looked into this but still cannot find much in information and photo's. Scouring the libraries and cemeteries to find out more on my family history. could I get some help with this? His sisters name was Mahala born about 1863.Mahala is a full blooded Cherokee and her father was not Lackey Newsom. Her mother took that name to the grave of who the father was. But we do know he was a full blooded Cherokee.
