Searching a very confusing family: Joseph Neal (Neil), Sabine County, LA., married Jane McGuffin and had children, two of which were Susan ( my g-grandmother) and Minerva Neal. After Joseph died Jane married David Recknor and moved to Leon County, Texas. Susan married Jesse Real, Sr. They had a son Jesse Real, Jr. Jr married a woman named Mary Neale. Her father was John Neale. Last known location for John was Polk County, TX. in the late 1880's. Susan Neal Real is buried in the Dry Creek Cemetery, Montgomery County, TX. Minerva Neal was the first person to be buried in the Keechi Cemetery, Leon County, TX. Both Neal(e)'s are supposed to be originally from LA. and Chickasaw / Choctaw / Cherokee Indian.
