John William Murphy born 1886 in Bury Lancashire England the husband of my grand aunt
Jane (Jannie) Thomas b 1887 Bury Lancashire Married in St Marie's Catholic church in Bury in 1909 with a daughter
Sarah Evelyn/Eveline Murphy born 1910 in Bury, with them is also Margaret b 1876 sister of John William.
They emigrated to Canada in 1912 John William first followed by Jane, Margaret & Sarah some months later.
They appear on the 1916 census in Calgary at 926, 5th Ave W Calgary Alberta Canada O5G.

John passed away 13 Aug 1964 in Vancouver aged 77 (possibly visiting Delores) but resided at 2537 Kensington Road Calgary with wife Jane and is buried in the military section I believe at Burnsland Cemetery Calgary. I don't have a death record for Jane.

I have John's WW1 military record, headstone and obituary, in John's obituary of 1964 there is mention of a Mrs T (Delores E) Maffin (don't know if she married was T Maffin her husband?) a grand daughter this may be Sarah's daughter, I have no idea what happened to them after 1916. Perhaps Sarah or Margaret married?
I know John had connections with the Canadian legion and he was a driver in WW1 in France regiment no 505425 9th Battalion CEF.
That's about it I have posted a message some time ago but I have a little more information on Sarah now.

Could someone check the latest Canadian census please?
