He was born in New York abt 1804 and married Olive Hulbert (daughter of Benjamin and Luarana _______)in Portage County Ohio in 1827. This family lived in Ohio,Ill., and finally settled in Clayton/Blackhawk counties in Iowa. (1840's thru 1870's).
