Elva, See my last message on this thread. Things are becoming clearer as I bellieve the Montis of ischia are all related especiall Casamicciola and Lacco Ameno.
My GG grandfather went to NY in the early 1900's but left his wife and child in Casamicciola. He was called Vincenzo and had brother Salvatore born around 1891.
