My Monti's are from Casamicciola and Lacco Ameno. My GG grandfather went to NY in 1903 and went back 3-4 times till 1914.He married Maria Aurelio.
I have been tracking the Monti's who went from Casam. and LA. to the US through the E Island passenger lists and it sjows quite a few links. Many of them went to live initially with other Monti relatives at 67th Str West NY - namely...Salvatore, Francesco, Ciro and family, Guiseppe and other relatives nearby.
Do you have a family tree I could look at?
