Where is this family located? I am descended from McLearens (sic) in Fauquier County, VA, with many of these names. I show an Archibald McLearen as the son of Daniel McLearen but no more information was on the family group sheet about Archibald. I just recently found some info on the Cumberland County, NC, that relates Archibald McLearen (sic) to Duncan McLerran (all these spellings are in the same e-mail message). We are fairly confident about 4 generations of our McLearen line but it gets hazy before that.
