Where abouts in Ontario do your McKay's come from?
I have a John McKay Rose b circa 1847 in Glengarry County.
His father and mother (Isabella McKay b circa 1827 Scotland) died in Midland, Simcoe County, Ontario. Isabella had a sister that was born in New York state. She also had three other sisters.
