I've been following with interest the information for Robert P. McGrew as well as John Blackburn McGrew. On the LDS site there is a John Blackburn McGrew, born 1807 in Westmoreland County, PA to Nathan McGrew and Eleanor Blackburn. From the same family line the couple had another son named Nathan, (b. abt 1795 in PA) who married an Angeline McManamy (b. abt. 1800 in Jefferson, OH). Their oldest son was named Robert P. McGrew, (b. abt. 1824 in Island Creek Twp, Jefferson, Ohio). He married twice; first wife was Amy and they had three children. The second wife was Mary Ann Chambers and they had five children including a son named Willard Lee who was my great grandfather. I recently got a copy of Willards' death certificate from Florida and his mother's maiden name is given as Mary Ann Chambers. Willard's family shows up in the 1860 census under the name Robert 'McGreen', which was obviously transcribed wrong, and the family is living in West Salem Twp, Mercer County, PA. Robert's occupation is a "saw miller". I'm sure there might be errors in this family line and I'd welcome any corrections you might have. Also I would love to have a copy of the paper entitled, "All McGrews Are Related" and would gladly send you a SASE for same.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
