Patrick McDonough was born 10 November 1844 in McCullen or Moycullen, County Galway, Ireland. He immigrated to the U.S. around 1859, ending up in Alabama. He married Ellen Mary Bailey aroun 1866 and had 11 or 12 children. He died 14 June 1902 in Mobile, Mobile, Alabama.

Oral history indicates that his parents were John McDonough and Isabella Faherty. I am seeking information on Patrick's parents. If any of this sounds familiar or, if yuo have suggestions where I can look for info, I would love to hear from you.
