Alan's my first cousin once removed, as is Isabella. Isabella was named after one of her father's sisters, I believe. Any info on the family much appreciated. Alan's father Thomas was the oldest child in the family, my grandfather one of the youngest. Three of the younger brothers of Thomas, Alan's father, emigrated to Nova Scotia and then the U.S., my grandfather James among them. James stayed in Massachusetts, his two brothers (one was John) headed to Detroit. I believe one of the brothers died in California in the 1970's. Some of the McClory men were very tall, others on the short side. My late father Robert looked very like his own father and they both resembled pictures I've seen of Alan.

A comprehensive high school in Armadale named its gymnasium after Alan McClory. I would enjoy hearing from my cousins. Thanks.
