I mean I really have a location where Tom McCarty went after the Delta Bank Robbery, he was there on 10 Sep 1893 and left a watch in the dirt which had a bullet indentation stopping it at 10:35 am. If this is interesting to you, I have pictures of Tom McCarty's initials on the tree near the watch, etc. It's not in a book, it was found by myself and my brother a couple of years ago with the help of our cousins in
Wayne County.

Anyway, I have Mary Ann Farmer's Genealogy which I did not find in any book either, I spent hundreds of hours on ancestry.com working through what was there, getting to know the family lines, piecing it together and then I found her genealogy lines back several generations.

I was just making progress with Alexander McCarty's lines when my research switched to a different focus. We originally believed Tom McCarty was my second great grandfather, William Henry Long. Bill Long is really the Sundance Kid and a book and documentary about that will be out very, very soon.

We have a couple of McCarty DNA marker sets, one autosumal and one mito.
