The person of my interest is Thomas McBratney who lived in Adams County Illinois (clayton), whom i believe his 2nd wife was Lena McNeall. What i believe i know is that he came to the US in 1833, first PA for a year then Illinois
His parents were John aprox born 1783 -? married to Nancy (Montgomery) 1795 - 7/18/1884, Griggsville illinois, there was an mention of her passing at the age of 91 in the Quincy Herald. In the 1850 census there is this: John 67, Nancy 55, Mary J 1824 (she married William Kendrick 12/24/1857), Hugh 24, Thomas 24, William 17, Alexander 14, Robert 12
I have newspaper articles for Thomas's death, and also William. I am wondering if I am in the right branch of the tree, or completly off line
