Is James Sr. (son of William) the one who moved to Burr Oaks, IA with his son's family? If so, have you found proof that his parents were indeed William and Eleanor (Wilsie) McAllister? The only sources I have been able to find naming James' parents are the SAR applications. I am unable to determine how the SAR applications were able to link James to William. Any help is greatly appreciated.
