I am Frank Mazzella (47 years old), son of Vincent Frank Mazzella (1 of 6 children) and grandson of Francesco Mazzella born in the 1890's?? in Lacco Ameno. Francesco was a fisherman and married Providenza Pompieri (my grandma from Fiume Dinisi, Sicilia) in Brooklyn around 1920. My grandparents divorced during the Great Depression and grandpa moved to San Pedro, CA where he fished for a living until his passing in the late 1950's. Grandma Providenza passed in 1988 in NYC. My family is dwindling. My father Vincent is 85 and some relatives are still around in NYC, NJ and CA.
