I am also looking for information on the children of John Maxson (Maxon) of Monmouth County NJ. Not sure of birth date, but he was a life saving station master (for shipwrecks, not swimmers- this was advent of Coast Guard) in 1850 and was responsible for the saving of 201 lives on the wreck of the Ayrshire off of Squan beach in NJ. It marked the first use of the Francis life car.
Possible children names I have are Charles (Williamson) Maxson, Elizabeth Maxson and Catherine Maxson. No dates known but the girls would have been fairly young.
