My grandfather's brother was 10 years older than him. I just found out he came to the US when very young. All I have is his birth record: Giovanni Olindo Amilcare Martino b. 27 June 1887, in Petrulo, Calvi.Parents were: Giuseppe and Assunta Palmieri Martino
And I found a marriage record yesterday: He married Assunta Nazzarro, aged 17, in March 1907 in Boston, Mass. I believe it was her parents that stood up for them, Carmine and Filomena Napoletana.
Then they just vanished. Anyone out there descended from them?
