Thanks for the information. I have been to Samuel's gravesite and have a picture of it. I also have been to Thirza's mother's gravesite, Electa, in Sherman Township, MI and have a picture of it. I have been looking for pictures of Electa Marks and as well as Thirza and her siblings. If you have any to share I would love to see them. I do have a pictue of Sam posted, Thirza's father, which must have been taken not too long before he left to join the Union in the Civil War. I am still looking for links to his father, but I have hit one road block after another. Again thanks for your information and I will add everything to what I have gathered. By the way, do you know Glenda Kitson? She also descends from your same line. I descend through Thirza's brother George Marks.
