Immigrated from Ireland with wife and children to Canada and then New York. His daughter Mary Clark Mallon married George W. Dickens in Scipio, Cayuga Co, NY and they moved to Sauk Co., Wisconsin between 1846 and 1851.

Archibald served in the Civil War and there is a file available from the government. I think but am not entirely sure he appears in the census for a short time in Minnesota.
