Evelyn, my name is Paul MacDonald and I found this forum on John Sandfield MacDonald. I had visited with Tal earlier this year about my family and through DNA matches have traced our roots to Knoydart Scotland and thus John Sandfield and his family. You mentioned that you had his entire family tree. I was wondering if you could send me what you have?

My family migrated from Knoydart in the 1853 clearances. They settled in Bruce County, Culross Twp. Our family stories had us as first cousins of Sir John A. MacDonald but I believe through the years the story of First Prime Minsiter and First Premier got switched. JSM I believe is the correct relative and my family is connected to him.
