I was able to find the information I was looking for so I am posting it in case it is helpful to anyone else.

Christine Loos was the daughter of Adam Loos (born about 1815 in Wirtenberg, Germany) and Catherine Dehler (born about 1822 also in Wirtenberg). Adam and Catherine had at least seven children, Henry, Maria, Christine, David, Edy, Elizabeth, and Katherine. Some of the children were born in Quincy, Ill. The family later lived in St. Louis.

Christine Loos and David Loos (brother and sister) both died in St. Louis.
