I have a copy of a deed where John M. Liles of Nacogdoches sold to Henretta Lewelling a part of the Jim Bennett League 70 acres, more or less. 14th day of May 1862. I actually am trying to track where the property might be. My ancestor TATE sold the property to LILES and LILES sold it to LEWELLING. Would you perhaps know exactly where this property could be ? I know it is in or around Linn Flat, Texas which is about 15 miles ( if that ) from Nacogdoches, Texas. Thanks for any help, and if you would like I'll send you a copy of the deed.
