I think we are looking for the same line. Jack J. (possibly James) Levells and Mary Lee Crow/Crowe Levels had a number of children and one of them was James Carl Levels. The family was also located in Empire, AL. A cousin (sadly, we have lost touch) sent this information to me about two years ago; it is fairly accurate.

Also, there were some variations in the spelling of the surname, and it may be that some of the children in this group actually spelled their surnames differently even though they were born in the same county to the same parents.
