The brother to whom you speak of Susan Martin is Thomas Martin. He did die in NY; married to Betsey Boynton. I don't know the length of time he lived in NY. I will try to get to the DAR paperwork I have and scan in the info. Hopefully, I'll be able to attach it to an answer back to you.
