Hello, I am researching Sophie Laroche, who was born about 1842 (in NY?) and married Andre Foucreau. Their son Andrew (Foucreau dit)Mesick, Jr. was my ancestor. I think I have located her family in the 1850 census in Champlain, and again in the 1860 census, but have not found any mention elsewhere that would help confirm her parents' names or her birthplace. Is anyone else researching this line?

Her parents were supposedly Francis Laroche and poss. Marie Rougier (spelling?).
