A quick correction to my above post.

It should read Agnes Taunton (nee Sabine). Her mother was Agnes Williams of Herringston who married John Sabine.

From the details kindly sent to me by Lexia Bain, it would appear that the Rev Gilbert Henry Langdon of Oving, Sussex had a brother Frederick William who married a Jane Sabine.
