have written a note to another person on Ancestry.com who I found after doing a search for a Robert Lane born 1639 from Derbyshire.

I am trying to find the person who put Robert Lane as their oldest known ancestor on the FTDNA website

I have compared my son's paternal DNA test to the Lane family group on FTDNA and believe our results are very similar to Robert Lane's entry.
