Searching for decendants of David Kydd/Kidd b.13 April 1883 at Gravesend Buildings, Arbroath to Ann Kydd/Kidd (illigitimate). I beleive David and his brother Alexander are the two Kydd children found at Dorwards institution Montrose on the 1891 census aged 8 and 10.

Hi Donna, I have done a lot more research into my Kidd/Kydds since I posted the message and if you would like to check out my tree, "Leitch McAlpine Family Tree" you will see all my Kidd/Kydd family on there. Mine all were born in Scotland in and around Angus County, that is, my grandfather, David K was born in Arbroath and his mother died when he was 8 months old. His mother was born in Arbroath and her father was born in Glammis in 1808. That's as far back as I have gone so far. It's taken me about 14 years to get that far because of a lot of misinformation given by my grandfather trying to hide his past. Good luck with your search and if you need any more help, just ask. I will be in Scotland in September so if there's anything I could look up for you while I am there, I will.
Kind regards, Ruth Fletcher, NSW, Australia.
