Hello. My great great grandmother was Anna Kloeker (1877-1945), and I am looking for any information about her ancestors. She was married to Theodore Tormoehlen. In the 1930 census, she says she was born in Indiana and her parents were born in Germany. On a website, I also found the following Kloekers listed as buried in Lutheran Cemetary in Jackson Co, Indiana (This is where my family is from, so I am guessing they are related to Anna somehow.):
Kloeker, William F.
1879-1951
Kloeker, Anna M.
Wife of Wm. F.
1880-1957
and four of their children who died as infants
Does anyone have any possible links to these Kloekers? Thanks!

I have in my database an Anna Klioeker married to a Theodore Tormoehlen. I am sure they were living in Jackson Co., IN. Theodore's parents were John Henry Tormoehlen and Anna Schafer. John Henry's parents were John Henry Tormoehlen and Marie Vissbecke. These are my 3rd great-grandparents. My maiden name is Tormoehlen and I am originally from Seymour, which is in Jackson Co. There are probably Tormoehlens in every Lutheran cemetery in Jackson Co. Have you tried the Jackson Co. Indiana message board?
I'm sure you will find help there too. Hope this helps.

Just seen this. I have some info that might help. I am from the Kloeker line from Ferdinand's brother Herman. Their father was Hermann Henrich Kloeker. He had seven children four of whom died in early childhood. The history of Shelby County might be worth looking at: https://archive.org/details/historyofshelbyc00hitc
