Ronny, My grandfather was Hershall Kilgore, son of William Luffman Kilgore and Dora Lowery. He married Hattie Mae Bennett, the youngest daughter of Mark and Mollie Wilson Bennett. My father is Tommy Kilgore of Kingston. I have herd him talk about many of the people you have mentioned. He said the Kilgores are Scotch Irish and his people came to Bartow County from Murray County, Georgia in the late 1800s.
My grandfather and great grandfather are buried in the Kingston Cemetery beside their wives. I would like to here more about your side of the family. How are the Rays and Kilgores kin? Did you know Wesley Ray from Kingston? His wife said he was kin to the Kilgores somehow. I would like to have copies of your pictures. I don't know if I can figure out how to get them out of the computer. I haven't had it long and I've never had pictures sent to me.
