No, I've never heard that Captain Kidd was related to Queen Elizabeth, but it's an interesting story -- I'm sure that Queen Elizabeth's family is well-documented, so it wouldn't be too difficult to look into and to prove the linkage from her end. I haven't been able to find out much on the Kidd family I'm researching nor on Captain Kidd's family.
