Smallwood Thompson died Mar 31, 1875 84 years 1 month 8 days buried in "a small, nearly inaccessible cemetary in the north central part of Perry Township, approximately halfway between Johnston-Slagle and Pence Roads".
Also buried there is Margaret Thompson wife of Smallwood died Aug 13, 1895 94 years 9 months 4 days
Also buried there is a grandaughter Martha
