FORT MILL, S.C. – Judith Ann Canton, 73, passed away March 27, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends at her residence in Fort Mill.
Judy, daughter of the late Cecilia Fergus and Henry Kaminski, was born in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) July 17, 1940, and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1958. She was employed as an Executive Administrative Assistant with Forum Health at North Side Hospital, where she retired after 30 years service.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Eugene Canton Sr.; sons Gene Canton Jr. of Eastlake, and Mark (Ann Marie) Canton of Martinez, Calif.; daughters Dawn (Ray) Padgett of Chantilly, Va., and Deanna Canton of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren Dagny and Miles Canton, Shelby Padgett, and Mackenzie and Mason Canton; sister Eleanor Dukovac of Rotanda West, Fla.; brother Sonny Kaminski of Austintown; half-sister Donna Jo Ferraro of Newton Falls, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Resurrection will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill at 1 p.m. on April 1, 2014.
