Hello,
I am glad to hear from you. The information I have for my Kaminski line comes from The John family book, the Lonowski family book, having talked with one cousin, and from the nebraska census for 1880 and state for 1885.
John Kaminski I found with his family in the 1885 and 1880 censuses.
The family was as follows:
John Kaminski (b: 1840 Poland/Russia) and wife Victoria (b: 1841 Poland/russia), they came over in 1870 or 1871 depending on the census.
The children were
John F 1874 Penn
Anthony 1866 Poland
Vincent 1869 Poland
Michael 1873 Penn
peter 1881 Neb
William 1880 Neb

1885:

My ancestress, Victoria, was a daughter of John F. Kaminski.
I have information from my trip to the Polish Historical Society in Sherman or Howard Cty Nebraska and my trips to the sherman and Howard county court houses. Most of my info is for the four eldest children, and nearly none for Peter. I do have a copy of Peter's marriage license which lists the parents names both the bride and the groom. I do not have any information about Peter's children. I do know that my father was named for Nellie's husband, who was a favored uncle of his father, Melvin, son of Louie, son of John Lonowski.
I'm sorry I cannot be more helpful, as I do not have access to Ancestry's censuses at this time.
FYI: If you are a cousin through my grandfather Melvin Lonowski, then I should tell you that I've been researching the family lines and can extend back pass John and Susan for a few generations in Poland, including a Larchick family book researched by an in-law to our cousins on that line. Let me know if your interested in that information as well. Use my ancestry name @yahoo.com to contact me for more information.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
